SCOPE OF WORKS

IPCQ was awarded the shop and field painting works subcontract for eleven (11) bulk fuel storage tanks as part of the Kwinana Terminal A Fuels Project. Working with CBI Constructors for Puma Energy (Australia) Fuels, the project commenced in June 2019 and concluded in April 2021.

Partnering with Ferroclean in Welshpool, over 35,000m2 of tank plate and fittings were blasted and primed off site in readiness for tank construction.
Site works commenced in February 2020 and were successfully delivered by a team of 16 full time IPCQ Brisbane-based crew.

IPCQ designed and constructed our unique purpose-fit containment system insitu offering superior safety and environmental outcomes to the client, asset owner and local community.

Despite the challenges presented by working interstate during the COVID-19 Pandemic, IPCQ’s team successfully delivered the project on time working over 30,000 man hours on site. IPCQ is extremely proud of our team’s efforts and sacrifices during this project.

The tanks were constructed as part of a new fuel depot to hold approximately 220-million litres of fuel to enhance Puma’s existing supply chain.
