IPCQ was engaged by Downer Edi Mining to assist with coating remediation in 2016 and subsequently awarded a 3-year maintenance contract in 2017.

After successfully completing the ROM Refurbishment Projects in 2014 & 2015, IPCQ was engaged in to assist with coating remediation following the CHPP Structural Steel Integrity Audit in August 2016.

IPCQ and the site’s maintenance team formed a partnership to establish and implement a coating maintenance program with a proactive approach that will ultimately reduce structural repair and extend the asset’s life-cycle.

Our IPCQ on site maintenance team proactively cconstructed a purpose-built blast & paint igloo on site in July 2017 providing the Meandu team a cost effective, environmentally friendly & reliable option for blasting & painting requirements on site. Additionally, this innovation provides reductions in lost time due to inclement weather & plant down-time.
