IPCQ was engaged as a Lower-Tier Subcontractor by CBI Constructors to completed the on site blasting and painting of 17 Bulk Storage Tanks and 1 Sphere.

During 2014-2016, IPCQ were engaged by CBI Constructors to complete 18 non-cryogenic bulk storage tanks at the $37B Inpex Ichthys LNG Project located in Darwin, Northern Territory.

SCOPE OF WORKS

The blasting and painting project of 17 Bulk Storage Tanks and 1 Sphere involved both internal linings and external coatings of tanks from 4m diameter up to 60m diameter. Due to the environmentally sensitive location at Blaydin Point on Darwin Habour, full containment systems were constructed and utilised throughout the project. IPCQ’s project team of 50 skilled craft labour personnel as well as dedicated Project Management, Quality & Safety specialists completed the project over an 18 month duration. IPCQ was awarded many safety awards during the course of the project and achieved zero recordable incidents. A fantastic achievement by all involved.
