SCOPE OF WORKS
Project Overview: IPCQ successfully undertook an extensive abrasive blasting and paint application project, applying protective coatings to both the internal and external surfaces of two newly constructed diesel storage tanks.
Project Details:
- Scope of Work: The project involved meticulous abrasive blasting to prepare the surfaces, followed by the precise application of advanced protective coatings designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and ensure the longevity and safety of the storage tanks. The internal floors were blasted 24 hours a day with our automated “Faster Blaster” machines, using dehumidification equipment we were able to control the environment inside the tank to ensure our strict quality standards were met.
- Location: These storage tanks are part of a strategically repurposed facility located on the east coast of Queensland. All tank plates, wind girders, nozzles and handrails were pre-blasted and primed in our blast and paint facility in Pinkenba, QLD.
