We engaged IPCQ to perform all blasting & painting activities for Origin’s four yearly Turn Around campaigns on their upstream assets. The campaign run for 12 months and consisted of 15 Gas Processing Facilities.
I found IPCQ to be extremely capable and versatile to complete their scope of work, considering 50% of their work was ad hoc and only come to light during the shuts.
I was extremely impressed by the safety related documentation that was produced prior to IPCQ arriving on site which ensured a smooth transition through the gate and to get working straight away. To see the management team on site at mobilisation, throughout the job and at the de-mobilisation stage to ensure that the project ran smoothly was impressive.
The workers that conducted the project had unbelievable attitudes in some very trying and tough working conditions.
